AIH is a unique and most developed Emergency Department in this territory with highly sophisticated modern equipment’s providing all kind of emergencies to all age group of patients 24 x 7. Our emergency department is a very big individual department which is toady to provide care to all type of emergencies according to the severity and triage level in a cordial and friendly atmosphere for immediate resuscitation & comfort of the patients.

Available facilities are:

  • Wide waiting area with a huge front desk and customer care Officers.
  • Well equipped triage area (first time ever in Bangladesh).
  • Treatment and observation area with 10 separate well equipped cubicles ensuring proper care as well as privacy to every patient.
  • Isolation room (negatively pressured) with dedicated equipment’s for isolation of suspected infectious cases (first time ever in Bangladesh)
  • Two resuscitation rooms with four resuscitation beds with modern ventilators and Bi-polar defibrillators and advanced life support equipment’s.
  • Modern Operation theater which is ready for day care surgery & emergency operations under General, Spinal & Local Anesthesia.
  • Dedicated well equipped neonatal resuscitation room for new born babies.
  • Trauma/procedure/cast room (first time in Bangladesh) for road traffic accident & any trauma cases.
  • Decontamination & mass Casualties Area (first in Bangladesh): remove contaminants like micro-organisms, hazardous materials, including chemicals, radioactive substances, and infectious agents.
