Internal Medicine or general medicine department is the medical specialty department which deals with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. The department is skilled in the management of patients who have undifferentiated or multi-system disease processes. The Department is run by experienced, well-trained doctors and nurses where there is separate nurse station with separate Consultant’s room.
The consultants remain on-call support for 24/7 and remain available to deal any emergency situation. The Specialists, Registrars, Medical officers remain on indoor duty throughout the day. AIH provides 24-hour comprehensive, individualized nursing care for in-patients based on their assessed nursing needs. All our nurses are well-qualified and experienced with a commitment to patient care. Each indoor floor is well equipped to deal with any emergency situations.
